Antiques & Shopping
Comfort, known as an "Antique Town", is a quaint little town filled to the brim with antique shopping. One could throw a rock and it would hit the other side of the town, but that doesn't mean this little place doesn't pack a punch. Filled to the brim with antiques to home decor, you'll come home with something you never knew you needed. Our favorite place to frequent is the 8th Street Market, featuring a plethora of vendors inside and out. And if you're heading into Fredricksburg for a wine tour, make sure to stop by Carol Hicks Bolton Antiques!
Our favorite place to visit when in need of a caffeine kick, Wander'n Calf coffee and espresso bar. Grab a coffee or scone and peruse through the antiques offered up at it's home, 8th Street Antique Market.
TEXAS wine country
The Casita & Grounds are smack dab in the middle of Texas wine country. That's right, in our backyard you'll find beautiful Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Dry Riesling to name a few. Located just a few miles down the road, you'll find the Bending Branch Winery and 20 min away is the "Napa" of Texas located in Fredericksburg, Texas. There you can check out some of our personal favorites, Becker Vineyards and Grape Creek. Don't feel like driving? No worries, hope on an Absolute Charm Wine Tour where you can relax and focus on your wine palate.
